East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival
Don't forget guys and girls, the 20th annual East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival is coming up April 16-18, 2010 at the James Island County Park. If you haven't been to this event, you're really missing out. 3 JAM PACKED days of classes, paddle tours, demos, food, and fun
I think this is the biggest and best festival in SC, but I'm biased because it's close to home. I'm a little more biased because I'll be doing a kayak fishing class and on the water demo with Chad Hoover this year.
Make plans now to come out and have fun.

Re: East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival
Charleston, South Carolina is the place to be for kayakers in April. The East Coast Canoe & Kayak Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary. There is a new social networking site dedicated to bringing Festival participants together on-line prior to the Festival. It is a good opportunity to connect with folks travelling to the Festival, and with Charleston-based paddlers. This virtual East Coast Canoe Kayak Festival community can be found here: http://www.meetup.com/eastcoastcanoeandkayakfestival/Scott Szczepaniak Sea Kayak Carolina 1731 Signal Point Road Charleston, SC 29412 (on James Island right off Folly Road) Shop (843) 225-7969 http://www.SeaKayakCarolina.com

I am always there. I live a mile from the James Island County Park. Prices normally aren't too bad so save up your money now. I know I always find new things I need.
