well...this ain't good - but there's a loose "orange" kayak somewhere vicinity of Port Royal Sound. The Coasties called us out last night (I enjoyed a really pretty light show BTW) - apparently a 28 ft boat sank off Bay Point and the POB's ended up riding a yak they had onboard. CG helo winched them out and hauled them to HHI.... of course the never told us and we stayed out there another hour before we got the word....I nearly drowned from the white water we were taking over the bow looking for these people and dodging the lightning. Then as rough as it was going out, coming BACK was a beast - had to ride the wake of one of the bigger boats to make any kind of headway. Coast Guard ain't on my happy list right now. Did you know at night when the helo pilots are wearing the NVG's, you can shoot them down with a small spotlight....heh....heh....heh.
